Your website live within 14 days of us receiving your content
The clock starts when the content checklist is complete, not when you sign. If something is missing, we tell you what on the day, not on day ten.

The site runs on managed hosting and loads over https. Software and security updates sit with us, so nothing separate lands in your inbox to pay or renew.

Up to 5 content edits a month
New before and after photos, a changed service, an extra suburb, a “booked until March” line. Send it in plain words and we make the change.

A monthly report of the enquiries your website received
A short record of every enquiry the site received that month, by date and job type. It shows what the site is doing and which work people ask about.

A 12-month minimum term, then month to month
The first year is fixed, which is what pays for the build. After that the plan runs month to month and either of us can end it with written notice.
What counts as a content edit
One change you ask for on an existing page. Up to 5 are included every month. For a painting business, a normal month's edits look like this:
- A new before and after pair in the gallery
- A changed price or service description
- A suburb added or removed
- New hours or a new phone number
- A “now booking for autumn” line on the home page
- A review you have permission to quote

- Your content edits made when you send them
You don't log in, renew anything or chase anyone. Your job is to send the photos.
The money side in full: fees, term and leaving
The same wording as the plan terms, without the legal layout.
- Setup fee
- NZ$549, invoiced once when you sign up. It pays for building the site and isn’t refunded once the build has started, except where the terms or the law say otherwise.
- Monthly fee
- NZ$269, invoiced in advance each month, starting from the month your site goes live. You never pay monthly for a site that isn’t up.
- Minimum term
- 12 months from launch. End it early and the remaining monthly fees in that term are still payable, unless we seriously breached the terms and didn’t fix it within 14 days.
- After the minimum term
- Month to month. Written notice before the next billing date, and the plan ends at the end of the month already paid for.
- Price changes
- Only after the minimum term, with at least 30 days’ written notice. You can end the plan before the new fee starts.
- Work outside the plan
- New pages, new features or a redesign are priced in writing first. Nothing is charged unless you agree.
What the first year costs
Across the minimum term you pay the setup fee once and twelve monthly fees. From month thirteen it is the monthly fee only, for as long as you keep the plan.
All figures are shown without GST. GST may apply. In New Zealand a business must register for GST once its turnover reaches $60,000 1 in 12 months, and only a registered business adds GST to its invoices. If GST applies when we invoice you, it is shown on the invoice.

How the plan sits against the other two routes
A website builder and a one-off agency build are both reasonable choices. They cost differently and put the work in different places: your evenings, or a bill every time something changes. Prices for both vary widely, so this compares how each works rather than quoting anyone else's prices.

The awkward questions, answered
I paid for a website before and it never brought in a job.
That’s common, and usually the site had no quote form, no suburbs and no photos of finished work. We can’t promise enquiries and won’t pretend to, but we build the parts that let a customer act, and your monthly report shows exactly what comes through.
I’m not a computer person.
You don’t need to be. You answer the checklist in plain words, send photos from your phone and email the changes you want. You never log in to anything.
What do I actually have to hand over?
Your services, the suburbs you cover, photos of your work, any prices you want shown, your logo if you have one and access to your domain. The full list is on the how it works page, as a checklist you can tick.
What if I want to leave?
After the 12-month minimum term, give written notice before the next billing date. Your domain and your content are yours; we give you a copy of your content and help you point the domain elsewhere.

Is there a setup fee, and when is it charged?
Yes: NZ$549, paid once. It pays for building the site and is invoiced when you sign up. The monthly fee only starts from the month your site goes live, so you are never paying a monthly fee for a site that isn't up yet.
The setup fee isn't refunded once the build has started, except where the plan terms or the law say otherwise.
Do the prices include GST?
No. Prices are shown without GST and the label reads "GST may apply". A business only charges GST once it is registered, and registration is required when turnover reaches $60,000 in 12 months. If GST applies when we invoice you, it is added and shown on the invoice.
How long is the minimum term?
12 months from the day your site goes live. The setup fee and the monthly fees together pay for building and running the site across that first year, which is why the plan has a minimum term. It is stated here, on the pricing page and in the plan terms, so there is nothing to find in the small print later.
What happens after 12 months?
The plan carries on month to month at the same fee. Either of us can end it with written notice before the next billing date, and it finishes at the end of the month already paid for. If the fee ever changes, you get at least 30 days’ written notice first and can end the plan before the new fee starts.
Can I cancel during the minimum term?
You can end the plan at any time with written notice, but the monthly fees for the rest of the minimum term remain payable. That doesn’t apply if you end it because we seriously breached the terms and didn’t fix the problem within 14 days of you telling us.
What if I need more changes than the plan includes?
We tell you the price before doing the work, and nothing is charged unless you agree. New pages, new features or a redesign are outside the plan and are priced the same way: in writing, first.
Why is there only one plan?
Because a painting business doesn’t need a menu of tiers to choose from. A sole-trader house painter and a commercial contractor need different pages, but the same things underneath: a fast site, a gallery, a proper quote form, somebody to make changes and somebody to keep it secure. One plan means one price, stated in full, with no upsell waiting on the second call.
Is hosting an extra cost?
No. Hosting, the SSL certificate and security updates all sit inside the monthly fee. Nothing arrives separately to pay, nothing expires in your name, and no updates wait for you to run them.
